“You are not alone and together we can discover resources and tools that uniquely fit your healing needs.”
Welcome! I am so glad you are here and thank you for taking the time to read more about me. It takes great strength and vulnerability to reach out for support, and I recognize and commend you for that. As a counselor, my goal is to create a safe, empowering, and accepting space where we can welcome all aspects of you, collaborate a vision for your better life, and identify and build on your strengths.
I value a warm, authentic, trusting connection with individuals, couples, and families where all is welcome from tears to laughter. My approach is grounded in integrative and humanistic practices as a means of centering you as the expert in your experience and working collaboratively to identify goals that best fit your unique needs. I enjoy employing psychoeducation, mindfulness, and art therapy to support you in safely reflecting, processing traumatic experiences, and building self-awareness. You are not alone and together we can discover resources and tools that uniquely fit your healing needs.
I provide a safe space for communities of a variety of social and cultural backgrounds, including BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, disabled, and the chronic illness/pain communities. I am inspired and informed by feminist, social justice, and liberation psychology theories.
I am currently a graduate student pursuing a dual master’s degree in art therapy and counseling at Southwestern College’s (Santa Fe, NM) distance program.
